About Hoshi Uranai: how readings are made

Hoshi Uranai is a Japanese and English site for short zodiac readings and accessible guides to traditional sign symbolism.

Producing a daily reading

When you choose a sign and today or tomorrow, the site checks for an existing reading. If none exists, it requests text from the OpenAI API and saves a successfully completed result. The same date, sign and language reuse that result instead of generating a new answer every time you open it.

What the service does not calculate

Readings use traditional zodiac themes and everyday situations. They are not based on birth time, birthplace or calculated planetary transits. There is no individual consultation by an astrologer. The text is entertainment and cannot establish future events or a health condition.

The permanent guides

The sign profiles, birthday chart and reading guides are edited as permanent pages separate from daily generation. AI also assists with drafting this material. Astrological symbolism is presented as a way of interpreting themes, not as a proven description of someone’s personality or relationships.

When generation is unavailable

If the API is unconfigured, a usage limit is reached or communication fails, the interface reports that state. It does not substitute an invented result while claiming generation succeeded. The permanent guides and birthday finder remain available.

Dates and languages

Readings use Japan-time dates. Japanese and English text are generated in their respective languages, so results for the same sign and date are not necessarily literal translations. Language links on permanent pages lead to the equivalent topic.
